A History of Excellence
Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) was developed as a purpose-built venue to host large-scale international exhibitions and has since grown into one of Singapore’s premier event spaces. With its prime location near Changi Airport and expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, the venue has hosted world-class events and is home to the biennial Singapore Airshow.
Over the years, CEC has also demonstrated its versatility and resilience—most notably when it was repurposed as a community isolation facility during the COVID19 pandemic—solidifying its role not only as an event destination but as a strategic national asset.
CEC is certified as a SafeEvent Venue by Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS).

Commitment to SustainabilityWith 15,000 solar panels installed on its roof, CEC has one of the top three largest single rooftop solar photovoltaic installations among private sector companies in Singapore. The solar panels produce over 7,840 megawatt hours of renewable energy annually, enough to power more than 1,750 four-room flats for a year. It will help reduce over 3.2 million kilogrammes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, equivalent to the emissions avoided from taking around 715 cars off the road, or planting over 39,000 trees. As a standalone building, the installation contributed approximately 2% towards Singapore’s 2020 national solar deployment target of 350MWp, which has since been achieved.
