Changi Exhibition Centre was the only
MICE venue in Singapore we could find
with a large enough square outdoor
exhibition space. Its shape and size was
ideal for us to set up our driving circuit. It
was also great in terms of the privacy it
provided as there were no casual
onlookers. Only individual clients that were
specially invited were present. We wanted
it to be a completely private and exclusive
event.

Our run required a combination of road
surface and rough terrain. Located next to
the sea coast, Changi Exhibition Centre
was able to give us this unique
combination. Our 10,000 strong contingent
also needed a large holding area, lots of
parking space and in case the weather
turned against us, a large indoor space that
can shelter so many of us. CEC’s huge
indoor/outdoor combo was exactly what we
needed.

As the production company responsible for
producing hit modelling series, Asia's Next
Top Model Cycle 5, for FOX Networks
Group Asia, Refinery Media was tasked
with creating a unique fashion shoot for the
show's sponsor, Subaru. We had to hoist
each model up from a giant construction
crane that was at least 10 stories high, and
the contestants had to pose gracefully on a
swing while a Subaru car performed
dangerous stunts beneath them. To pull
this shoot off, we required a very large and
flexible venue that could accommodate the
massive set-up and unusual requirements.
We were excited to use Changi Exhibition
Centre which was a perfect fit for the shoot.

For our event we needed a very large
outdoor space connected to a very large
indoor space. Changi Exhibition Centre
provided the best combination. We used
the hall for our technical inspection,
paddocks, hospitality lounge and meetings,
while we used the outdoor open space for
our experiential tents, the Shell Eco-
marathon and stakeholder tracks, and there
was plenty of space for the 18,000
visitors to watch the action on track
